ECU Health expands its Summer Meal Program to six eastern North Carolina communities, adding Edenton, Roanoke Rapids and Windsor.
The program will operate six sites across eastern North Carolina with meals served weekdays and new locations in Edenton, Roanoke Rapids and Windsor.
The expansion is supported by partners Food Lion Feeds, Sodexo and the ECU Health Foundation.
In 2025, the program served more than 4,500 meals, highlighting its ongoing impact.
Meals are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. during June through August.
The program is a community health initiative organized by ECU Health in partnership with local organizations.
Locations include Ahoskie, Edenton, Greenville, Roanoke Rapids, Tarboro and Windsor.
The program partners with Food Lion Feeds, Sodexo and the ECU Health Foundation.
