UNR's StreetReach program receives mobile health clinic from Washoe County
- Washoe County transfers a new mobile health clinic to UNR's StreetReach program to expand care for the homeless.
- UNR Nursing and Public Health Schools will operate the clinic and offer care such as wound care and virus testing.
- Beginning in September, the program will give nursing and public health students learning opportunities.
- StreetReach founder and Associate Dean say the mobile clinic will help reach areas beyond the CARES Campus vicinity.
- The new vehicle was funded by ARPA dollars, originally purchased for Northern Nevada Public Health.
