Walk of Honor planned for Wooster High School baseball player

A Walk of Honor is planned Monday at 1 p.m. at Akron Children’s Hospital in Wooster for Maddox Graser.
Maddox Graser was a Wooster High School sophomore baseball player who died after a sudden illness.
The school said counselors would be available on-site to support students during this time.
Maddox was part of Wooster High School’s baseball and wrestling teams.
The GoFundMe page indicates Maddox became seriously ill this past week before being airlifted to the hospital.
Wooster High School extended condolences from Principal Margaret Davis on social media.
The hospital arranged multiple viewing areas to accommodate a large crowd expected for the event.
Officials will support students through this time with additional resources and communication.
The event and tribute are being organized following Maddox Graser’s death on Saturday.
