El Segundo remains a hub for aerospace and defense, near major contractors and Space Systems Command.
Varda co-founder Will Bruey, a former SpaceX avionics engineer, leads the startup’s scaling efforts at the new site.
Varda plans additional office consolidation within its growing El Segundo campus as production expands.
Varda expects to complete construction of new facilities by the end of next year with multiple missions planned through 2028.
