Seasons of Science brings free family science to local breweries

Seasons of Science is bringing free, family-friendly science activities to two local breweries this winter.
The events will be held at The Shady Llama in Wimberley and Roughhouse Brewing in San Marcos.
Activities include winter-themed experiments, wildlife education, crafts, and guided nature walks.
Participants can receive $5 off their tab by completing a short on-site survey.
The program is part of ongoing efforts to make science enjoyable, accessible, and community-centered.
The first event is on December 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. at The Shady Llama in Wimberley.
A second session is planned for December 7 at Roughhouse Brewing in San Marcos.
Both events are free to attend and encourage family participation outdoors.
The program is a collaboration between Texas State University biology, and local naturalist groups.
The events aim to connect families with their natural surroundings in community spaces.
