Robyn Taps Jamie xx for a Fresh 'Dopamine' Hit on New Remix

Robyn and Jamie xx dropped a new remix of ‘Dopamine’ that remixes the track into skittering, jungle-informed grooves.
This is Robyn and Jamie xx’s second collaboration, following their work on ‘Life’ from Jamie xx’s In Waves.
Robyn released ‘Dopamine’ in November as her first solo original since 2018’s Honey, created with Klas Åhlund.
Robyn described the track’s dual emotion as a blend of real, intense feeling and a recognition of biological processes.
Robyn has not announced a new album yet amid ongoing collaborations with other artists.
In addition to Jamie xx, Robyn has worked with SG Lewis, Channel Tres, Jónsi, Smile, the Lonely Island, and Beck this period.
Robyn performed live recently at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles and has a New Year’s Eve show scheduled in Brooklyn.
No album announcement accompanied the remix release, though Robyn remains active with collaborations and live performances.
Rolling Stone confirms the remix release as part of Robyn’s evolving collaborations and live activity in 2025.
