Whole Foods Market to double its UK stores by opening six new outlets

Whole Foods Market plans to open six new UK stores in London over the next three months.
The new outlets will be in Liverpool Street, Monument, Westminster, Notting Hill Gate, Angel, and Canary Wharf.
Openings are planned from April to June this year.
Existing UK stores include Camden, Chelsea, Clapham Junction, Piccadilly, Stoke Newington and Kensington.
The Kensington store is popular with royals and Meghan Markle was spotted there in 2016.
Amazon said last year it was closing all Amazon Fresh shops to focus on online business.
Globally, Amazon reports growth in Whole Foods locations since acquiring the chain in 2017.
The new UK stores will offer organic produce, prepared foods, and beverages.
Three openings are in central London, with three more in other notable areas.
Whole Foods Market plans emphasize high-quality standards and planet-friendly sourcing.
The openings include a store near Kensington Palace, a hotspot for celebrities.
