With special guests and added attractions, holiday parade looks to bring cheer

The Holiday Lights Parade traveled from Moorhead to downtown Fargo, drawing crowds for a festive winter celebration.

The march started at 6:30 p.m. at Moorhead's Sixth Street and Center Avenue, moving through NP Avenue and Broadway in Fargo.
More than 65 floats had registered by late November, including colleges, businesses and churches.
The route included new developments near Moorhead’s 650 Block and the NP Garage for easier access.
Organizers noted that the parade followed the state playoff game, tying community celebration to local sports.
Spectators could enjoy the Broadway Square tree lighting and an open skating rink during the event.
