70 Pct in Japan Underprepared for Future Disasters

A Japanese Red Cross Society survey found 69.2% have taken no or only insufficient disaster-prep measures.

10.3% of respondents were unsure about their preparedness.
The results came from online surveys of 1,200 people aged 10–69.
The survey aims to raise awareness and reduce disaster damage.
