Pets of Pima Parade off to see the Wizard on Sunday!

The 5th Annual Pets of Pima Parade in Tucson features a Wizard of Paws theme and runs this Sunday.
Organizers aim to raise funds for lifesaving animal programs at Pima Animal Care Center and partners.
More than a thousand pets are expected to take part in the downtown Tucson event.
Adopters can meet animals at the ‘If I Only Had a Home’ Adoption Event after the parade.
PACC will waive adoption fees for the event, with varying fees at other shelters.
The event runs 10:00–11:15 a.m. for the parade and the festival continues until 2:00 p.m.
The event includes entertainment, food, and activities for all ages.
PACC Chief Operating Officer Laura O’Brien emphasizes the countywide need for animal homes.
The theme aims to highlight the joy pets bring to the community.
