Man and woman arrested after trying to get into Faslane naval base

- A 34-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were detained after attempting to enter the base at around 5 p.m., Police Scotland said in a statement.
- Two people tried to enter Faslane base in Scotland, home to core of UK’s submarine fleet and Trident nuclear weapons.
- They were charged following the incident, as inquiries continued into the attempted breach of the naval base.
