Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton Rides Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster ‘One Last Time’ Before Band Is Removed From Ride

Tom Hamilton rode Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster ‘one last time’ before its March closure and re-theme.
The ride closes on March 1 to transform into a Muppets-themed coaster opening in summer 2026.
Hamilton visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios with his new band Close Enemies on Jan. 27.
The ride, opened in 1999, features a 125-speaker, 14-subwoofer system playing Aerosmith hits.
The attraction will be repurposed around Jim Henson’s Muppets characters with a new opening planned for summer 2026.
Pre-show entertainment for the ride had been scrapped before the transformation.
Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton publicly shared his farewell ride via Instagram posts.
Disney World’s park page confirms the March 1 closure date for the ride.
The Muppets-themed coaster will later feature Jim Henson’s characters on Sunset Boulevard.
No opening date has been announced yet for the Muppets-themed ride.
