An 18-year-old University of South Carolina student accused of stabbing a man in Columbia's Shandon neighborhood has been released and is in mental health care.
The stabbing occurred just after 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Wheat Street, police say.
The bond was a $10,000 personal recognizance bond with no money posted, and the suspect had no prior criminal record.
