Blue Fox Entertainment Acquires iPic Theaters in Los Angeles and Manhattan

Blue Fox Entertainment has acquired two iPic Theaters locations in Los Angeles and New York City and will rebrand them as 'The Cinemas'.
The theaters will be renamed The Cinemas and stay open during the transition.
iPic filed for bankruptcy in March, prompting the sale to Blue Fox.
Manhattan’s Fulton Market venue has eight screens; Westwood Village has six auditoriums.
No other iPic locations were acquired; Pasadena location recently closed.
Blue Fox plans to introduce new programming at the venues post-acquisition.
In-theater dining is being phased out in favor of traditional concessions.
Blue Fox positions the move as strengthening its position in the U.S. theatrical market.
Tuck Room restaurant and cocktail lounge will remain open during the rebrand.
Blue Fox intends to add special engagements and community-focused events at the venues.
