Pete Eglitis signs with Penn State, joining the Nittany Lions’ 2025 class as a tackle.
The Columbus native is 6-foot-7 and 290 pounds, adding length on Penn State’s line.
Eglitis chose Penn State after backing out of an Iowa State commitment when Campbell left for State College.
Eglitis cited the opportunity to play for Campbell and Clanton as a key draw to Penn State.
Eglitis praised the coaches’ culture and development as a major factor in his decision.
The prospect earned around 20 scholarship offers and visited many schools during the recruiting process.
Eglitis helped Bishop Watterson win back-to-back Ohio state championships in his prep career.
Columbus native also earned first-team All-Ohio honors in 2024 and 2025.
Eglitis visited Penn State officially in late January during NSD window before committing.
The signing was part of a busy Wednesday for PSU recruiting as they add 27 targets and more.
