The Data Appeal Company found a traveler satisfaction score of 86.1/100 for U.S. travelers in Italy.
Italy saw over 8.1 million arrivals and 23.7 million overnight stays in 2024, with more than 1.4 million U.S. arrivals in 2025.
Italy offers coast, mountains, ancient sites and modern cities from Rome to Florence to Pisa.
The ranking factored in destination popularity, traveler behavior and buzz, plus hours of sunlight.
