U.S. Soccer calls 80 players to U-14 Girls South Region Talent ID Mini-Camp

U.S. Soccer named 80 players from the South Region, all born in 2012, for the U-14 Girls Talent Identification Mini-Camp.
The camp runs March 18–22 in Fayetteville, Georgia, at the future Arthur M. Blank National Training Center.
The mincamp is designed to expand the YNT player pool and accelerate development for high-potential players.
The coaching staff at the camp will be entirely female, led by Emma Hayes.
Diane Drake and Illeana Moschos will oversee the regional Talent ID managers guiding the sessions.
Players come from 11 states, including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, and Texas.
The roster includes players across multiple positions, including goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward.
The mini-camp is part of a broader initiative with regional camps and future North region events planned.
The program emphasizes education on nutrition, rest and recovery and self-evaluation as part of development.
Travel is minimized by the regional mini-camp format to reduce days away from home, school, and club.
