The trial described the abuse as a ‘Dickensian’ campaign spanning more than 20 years, with threats and control over the victim.
The victim was rescued in 2021 and has since improved with support from social services and friends.
Gloucestershire Police stated the victim had been exploited and forced to work in domestic servitude for years.
Investigators described the abuse as having an 'almost Dickensian quality' during the trial.
A police bodycam note highlighted how the victim remained in a harmed, isolated state for years before rescue.
The court heard Wixon had seven children and benefits claims while abusing the victim.
The victim reportedly began English and Maths classes after removal from the home.
