FAQ
How multi-model audits work, what they cost, and where your questions go.
8legs is a multi-LLM audit platform. You ask one question and it is sent to 8 leading AI models at the same time — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Llama, Kimi and Qwen. You see every answer side by side, plus a consensus summary that flags where the models agree and where they contradict each other.
Each model is trained by a different company on different data, with different architectures, safety rules and knowledge cutoffs, and most generate text with some randomness. The same question can therefore produce genuinely different — sometimes contradictory — answers. Comparing several models side by side exposes those differences before you rely on any single answer.
Every audit runs across 8 models: OpenAI ChatGPT (GPT-5.6 Luna), Anthropic Claude (Sonnet 5), Google Gemini (3.5 Flash), xAI Grok (4.5), DeepSeek (V3.1), Meta Llama (4 Maverick), Moonshot Kimi (K2.6) and Alibaba Qwen (Qwen3 235B). You can deselect any of them before running an audit.
After all models answer, a separate AI pass reads the full set of responses and produces a short summary: what most models agree on, any notable differences, and how many models share the majority view. Contradictions are flagged so you know exactly which answers to double-check before acting on them.
The Free plan includes 3 audits with all 8 models, no card required. Paid plans add daily quotas: Pro at $7.99/month gives 20 audits per day, Pro+ at $19.99/month gives 50, and Ultimate at $29.99/month gives 100. Annual billing saves 20%, prices are in USD, and you can cancel anytime.
Your question is transmitted to the AI providers so they can answer it — some are called directly (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI), others run via Replicate, a US hosting service. DeepSeek, Kimi and Qwen are developed by China-based companies, though we reach them through Replicate in the US. Each provider processes queries under its own terms, so avoid submitting sensitive personal data.
Yes. Open the model selector before running an audit and toggle off any model you don't want; at least one must stay selected. Excluded models never receive your question at all. This is useful if you'd rather not have a specific provider — or a specific country's models — process a particular query.
No. 8legs does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax or other professional advice, and nothing shown through the service is a substitute for a qualified professional. AI answers can be wrong even when they agree with each other. Use audits to inform your judgement, then verify anything high-stakes with a professional.
